High CFG artifacts

Hi, I'm finding that I get better images with a CFG of around ~12, but I notice that the right side and the bottom of the image have some discoloration going on. Is there a workaround for this other than lowering the CFG?

A cfg of 12 is unusable in every existing model. Some are fine at max 8 but most of the times they need a lower value which is always specified in the settings. That's how it works. I'm surprised you have only noticed the smaller artifacts at the edges of the image when in fact the whole picture is completely burned out. Some folks like the slightly burned style if you're one of them use the ODE sampler DPM++2M at the "official" cfg value of 4

I agree with @Privac , I only use a CFG around 4 (between 3 and 5 depending on prompt, seed and sampler / scheduler).
If you want to use higher CFG, maybe you can give the Skimmed_CFG extension a try. It allows pushing the CFG very high, and may even make the DPM "SDE" samplers usable with Chroma. Did a very quick check and seemed to work, but I didn't spend too much time on it tbh.

For high CFG, using APG might help avoid some of the artifacts.
