# FoodWise Planning Directory

This directory contains active planning and setup documentation for the FoodWise project.

- `auth_options.md` - Proposed authentication options and rollout plan for the remote MCP server

## Archive

See `archive/` directory for completed planning documents from the initial project development phase. The core FoodWise inventory management system with MCP integration is complete and working.

## Project Status

**Current Status**: ✅ Core system complete and operational
- Full CRUD inventory management
- FastMCP server with Claude Desktop integration  
- 12 tools (5 inventory + 7 shopping), 4 resources (2 inventory + 2 shopping), 5 prompts
- Production-ready with comprehensive testing

**Next Phase**: Recipes database integration and advanced shopping flows
